Deciding to being therapy can be a big step if you've never gone to therapy before. People often have questions about what they should expect and what they might need to do.

Rest assured that you can ask your therapist at any time during the process. All you have to do is show up and be willing to be in conversation with your therapist. You get to determine how fast or how slow you talk about YOU. Some people want to sit down and get started right away. Some people want to take a few sessions to get comfortable conversing with the person in the therapist chair before they talk about topics and issues that are personal and important to them. It's up to YOU.
