Payment will be accepted at the beginning of each session. This office accepts HSA cards, flex cards, credit cards, cash, and check payments.

Cancellation Policy

When rescheduling or cancellation is needed, please cancel your appointment at least 48 hours in advance. 

Cancellation Fees:

       48 hours in advance:                                No fee

       Less than 48 hours in advance:                $80

       Less than 24 hours in advance:                $50

       No show:                                                  Full session fee

Weather risk exceptions are honored. Your safety is primary - contact the office as soon as you determine you would prefer to reschedule.

Please contact your insurance company to determine your out-of-network mental health benefits. If you decide to seek insurance reimbursement, a monthly itemized statement will be available to you via our client portal. Use of a Health Savings Account (HSA)/Flex Spending Accounts (FSA) is another way to reduce the cost of therapy.

Guidelines for Checking Insurance Benefits

  1. Call the Mental Health Number on the back of your insurance card.

  2. Ask if you have out-of-network mental health benefits.

  3. If yes, ask if you have coverage for the CPT codes that may apply to you (see below).

  4. If you indeed have coverage, find out if you need pre-certification and how it is obtained.

  5. Call or email your provider with information about pre-certification documents, if necessary.

Other important questions for your insurance provider:

  • What is my deductible and has it been met? [If not met, once I pay the deductible, what is my copay/coinsurance?]

  • How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?

  • What is the coverage amount for an out-of-network therapy session?

  • What documentation/information is required to submit for insurance reimbursement?

  • 90791 Initial evaluation session/consultation

  • 90837 Psychotherapy sessions

  • 90846 Family therapy without patient present

  • 90847 Family therapy with patient present
